Ayurvedic Vegan ‘Medimix’ Soap

For more vegan/cruelty-free soaps reviewed in this blog, you can click this link.

There is not much to say about Medimix soaps because the BWC-certification says it all. Medimix ayurvedic soap does not contain ingredients derived from animals, does not use animal-derived substances in its manufacture, and is not tested on animals either. Please check the certification in the image below.

Medimix soaps are available in three varieties: for dry skin containing vegetable glycerin and Lakshadi oil, for infection-and-odor-prone skin containing 18 herbs, and for blemish-prone skin containing Sandal oil and the Eladi oil. You can click the bolded links above to learn more about the composition of each variety.

Availability of Medimix Ayurvedic Vegan Soap: Medimix soaps are available in most stores all over the country.

“Ultimately, compassion to animals is really compassion to oneself.” ~Gurudev Shree Chitrabhanu, Jain Guru~

  1. Medimix for dry skin is not vegan. If you read the little slip of paper inside the pack which has the composition of Lakshadi Oil, you'll find yogurt listed as an ingredient.

  2. @ Anonymous: Will apreciate a name next time. First, we did not find any such slip of papaer inside the pack. Next, the Medimix soaps are certified by the BWC. Third, would encourage you to get in touch with the company if you want to take this up further and if you are willing, do share your findings with the readers.
